Cognition

Speech therapy has been shown to help people improve their cognitive functioning and get back to work and life.

There is hope for people with concussion, brain injury, and other neurological conditions that impact cognition and communication.

Using the latest research, I create individualized plans to help my clients meet their cognitive rehab goals.

Causes

A wide range of brain injuries and illnesses can impact cognition, including concussion, traumatic brain injury, long COVID, multiple sclerosis, mild cognitive impairment, dementia, stroke, and more.

Concussion & TBI

Concussion (also known as mild traumatic brain injury) often doesn’t feel mild at all. Cognitive rehab can help people with brain injuries of all kinds regain skills and learn strategies to maximize function and get back to what matters most.
